Heritage (Algonquin) Pumpkins

The original pumpkin, this is a heritage (heirloom) variety that was originally native to this region of Central Ontario. Unlike our classic orange carving pumpkins and our white pumpkins these pumpkins are harvested when they are still green and do not ripen until they have been in storage.

Truly the best flavour for home baking if you're willing to wait a bit longer! They keep exceptionally well in our long term storage and we only store the best ones with a uniform size.
