Broccoli

Broccoli is in the brassica plant family and can be eaten either raw or cooked. It is comprised of tiny, bead like flowers that form a large head, on a tree like structure branching from a large stem. Broccoli is a particularly rich source of vitamin C and vitamin K. 

Broccoli is most nutritious when cooked by steaming or by adding to stir fry near the end of cooking so that it remains fairly firm.

Sold by the bunch, which is generally 1 large crown or 2 smaller crowns.
